What exactly is a Taramani reading?
It is a personal Vedic astrology (Jyotish) consultation based on your birth chart — a precise map of the planetary positions at the moment you were born. In a live session, our astrologer explores the key dimensions of your life and identifies the gemstones that may help harmonize your chart.
How much does it cost?
The reading fee is $150. This covers the in-depth preparation of your birth chart and your live consultation session. Any gemstones or bespoke jewelry are quoted separately afterwards, and there is never any obligation to purchase.
What information do you need from me?
Your name and contact details, plus your date of birth, time of birth, and city & country of birth. Birth time matters: even an approximate time helps, but the more precise it is, the more accurate your chart will be.
Why is my birth time so important?
The planets shift position throughout the day, so your exact birth time refines the accuracy of your chart — particularly the finer details around timing and life areas. If you're unsure, share your closest estimate and we'll work with it.
How and when does the session happen?
Once your payment is received, we'll be in touch to schedule your live session at a time that suits you. The consultation is held live so you can ask questions and explore your chart in real time.
How do I pay?
You can pay securely by credit card or by bank transfer. After you submit your details you'll be taken straight to our secure payment page, and the same options are included in your confirmation email.
Do I have to buy gemstones or jewelry?
Not at all. Your reading stands complete on its own. If you wish to act on your gemstone prescription, we can craft a bespoke piece for you — but that's entirely your choice and quoted separately.
What are the gemstones, and how are they made?
Based on your chart, specific stones are chosen in specific cuts — to either reflect or absorb their planet's ray. Master craftsmen in Sri Lanka set them by hand into your chosen piece, made to order for you.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within our terms. If you cancel before your chart preparation begins (within 24 hours of payment), you're entitled to a full refund. Once work has begun, the fee becomes non-refundable. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Is my personal information kept private?
Absolutely. Your birth and contact details are used only to deliver your reading and are never sold. See our Privacy Policy for exactly how your data is handled.
Do you offer readings outside Sri Lanka?
Yes. Taramani serves clients around the world. Sessions are held live online, so you can join from anywhere.
Can a reading guarantee a specific outcome?
No. Astrology is a guidance and wellbeing practice, and we are always honest about that. It is not a substitute for professional medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice, and your decisions remain your own. You can read more on our Process & Transparency page.
